i think ur right but i dont think the same thing can happen to them also, or at least i dont think thats whats being inferred here. "the killer in me is the killer in you" i think that means he wants to commit suicide (the killer in me) and the people who left him alone want him to die (is the killer in you) because corgan is saying that the killer in him has the same intentions as in the person who left him alone so basically by killing himself, the person who left him alone is responsible |

i also think its about trying to express ur feelings but feeling trapped, however i also think there's a little more to it. i think that corgan is referring to the government - he feels trapped (rat in a cage) in a society where he cant express himself because of the laws -despite all my rage i am still just a rat in a cage- i think that line is the most important giveaway, he has so much rage towards the government but he has nowhere to release it, hence the cage -the world is a vampire, sent to drain- corgan's world - government, laws, police (a reality) - drains the life out of everyone, too many restrictions -secret destroyers- i think he may be referring to the police (work for the government, placed in communities to keep things in order) -now im naked, nothing but an animal- government strips people of their freedom and rights focusing on the title "bullet with butterfly wings" i think this could mean 1 of 2 things... or both 1: the government is the bullet but there to look pretty (butterfly wings) so noone thinks of them as the enemy 2: referring to bullets shot by police - its alright for the police to shoot people because they're there for the protection of others, but in reality its just a bullet |
