guys, this whole album is about the bible. this is obviously about adam & eve (and how women are "supposed" to feel toward men). she even talks about figs. she has to sew and sew because they have to wear clothes to cover their shame, etc. "pick the fruit, realize i'm naked." how could that not be about adam & eve? |

I've never heard the original version, but I did hear the new version before I read _The Road_. After I read _The Road_, I heard the new song again, and it all came together. It's less specific, but still recognizable! Just because he says "carry the fire" so many times, I guess. It's so good. I wish I could write like that. |
