I think part of this is about how he went to the dentist a lot just to ask for happy gas so he can sleep in his time of insomnia. The rest he just took the opportunity to right a funny song about going to the dentist and trying not drinking and driving. |

This is about his insomnia! Well that's what i think at least, i think he is trying to talk from a third person perspective. like someone who is trying to help him, "I will disguise myself as a sleeping pill" Take me above your light Carry me through the night Hold me secure in flight Sing me to sleep tonight now he is talking from his perspective, take me away from light so i can sleep and hold me to make me feel safe and sing to make me sleepy. That's what i think, that is my interpretation, no need to criticize! :) |

He also hated being an insomniac and pretended he wasn't one (Because i feel like such an insomniac).
