I agree. Most Nirvana songs are better than this major hit. The melody of this song is not Nirvanas anyway. But I would place about a girl as the worst song, at least it is the worst Nirvana song to play on the guitar cos it is to simple and you get bored of it. But the lyrics is far from the worst. |

Another thing is that the guitar riff of this song is actually a rip off from the song "More than a feeling" - But it does have some elements added to it , but from a musician stand point we know that it is harder to come up with a good melody than writing good lyrics, so in that sense Nirvana´s most known song would not get known without "More than a feeling". |

This song is about the youth generation and boredom. It is a vision of how a person or a little group look at the time in for example school. A non conformist little groups views on unwritten laws we follow. A denial by the blind or a denial even if you know the truth and getting bored of it. |
