| I agree with you. The whole part about doing the dishes is very childish. I mean: who's interested in the fact that she runs the water very, very, very hot. I feels like she sings this song while she's doing the dishes. And that her mind is full of music, so she sings everything she does. | |

I don't think the part 'when the crazies say they hate us...' doesn't refer to extremists. I think it's about religious people who think you have to be very serious as a believer, that God hates you if you don't really do everything that's written in the bible or so. But I think the whole song is not about making fun of/with God, but about blaspheme. That almost everyone use random the name of God when there happens something. And makes fun of God, like 'at a cocktailparty while listening to a good God-theemed joke'. But when it's really serious like 'the doctor calls after some routine-test', then they suddenly change. Then they start to think that the God they laugh at, might exist and is able to solve their problems. So I think it's a song about hypocrites. |
