Panic! at the Disco – Hurricane Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Just my alternative interpretation of this, because I'm not saying that it doesn't have any deeper meaning behind it, but rather it is symbolic to whatever this Ryan stuff may be. But, I'm seeing some of the song obviously shedding some lyrics implying a prostitute, or prostitution and sex. Here's some lines: "Are you worth your weight in gold?" Their cost. Ya know.. "Hey, stranger, I want you to catch me like a cold You and God both got the guns When you shoot I think I'd duck" STDs, coming from either person. "I led the revolution in my bedroom And I set all the zippers free We said no more wars, no more clothes, give me peace Oh, kiss me" Basically represents make love, not war. Lots of it. "We are a hurricane Drop our anchors in a storm" They left their mark on the girl, left a remnant; a memento. "You'll dance to anything" They'll sleep with anyone (for the right price). Purely what I got from listening to the song. And if this pretty close, it could also be symbolic and have some deeper meaning behind it. |
