| Totally agree with you!! When people get jelous, I beleive it´s because their vulnerable. At 1st the "coming out of my cage..." should be he has everything, but he wants more"got to be down because I want it all" so it could be he´s trying to push a relationship, and he has a one night stand or has a sort of fling with a girl and gets too attached. I don´t see it as a love song... Also he could´ve recently been out of a relationship.. and that´s why he´s "down, and wants it all" to fill those empty spaces... just a thought | |

I think it can work both ways. Long time after a break up and simply falling out of love. This is what happened to my ex, and even though he tried to explain it to me he just could´t and he said the same thing, I just realized I didn´t want to be in a relationship anymore. Loved the open chair opinion about sitting down and talking!!! I didn´t understand it. And well, it worked for me too. I was really sad after the break up, and this song actually helped me!! After going through a difficult break-up, even more if you were dumped -_- you also wake up one day and realize you dont love that person anymore. "I pack my case I check my face I look a little bit older I look a little bit colder" Could mean, like everyone said, the realizing you don´t have the same feelings for that person, you´ve grown, especially out of those feelings. "With one deep breath And one big step I move a little bit closer I move a little bit closer" -- Even though it was and still maybe a little difficult to get pver the person, you know close to moving on completely. For reasons unknown -- when you fall out of love, you just fall out, there´s no reason. not necesarilly because they hurt you, etc. "I caught my stride I flew and flied -- I saw other places, met other people I know if destiny's kind, I've got the rest on my mind" -- You wanted to continue with your life, i continued with mine, i also made my path, I also found ways to move on. "But my heart, it don't beat, It don't beat the way it used to And my eyes, they don't see you no more And my lips, they don't kiss, They don't kiss the way they used to And my eyes don't recognize you no more" -- It may be that the other person is trying to get him(her) back but, he(she) has already moved on. BTW loved the comment about this being a Med thing, beacuse, hello!! if we´re talking about waking up and realizing something, before you reach your conclusion you have to make sure what you´re feeling, he´s checking he´s vitals!! AWESOME! I could have not thought about better excuses. But "recognize you no more" is actually pretty harsh to tell someone if you still care for them... Even if you´re not IN LOVE with them. The music is upbeat, so he(she)´s happy... not a sad song, or a song for apologies. Simply a song about feeling free to move on, because the relationship just got tiring. If it was a relationship, something must have been going wrong, whether you broke up or were the one left. If it were going well, he would´ve felt some sort of remorse. Anyway, that´s my interpretation, but I actually think it about breaking up with someone, I just prefer it my way, makes me happy :) |
