John Frusciante – Saturation Lyrics 13 years ago
The lyric "I feel the wheels are turning round, oh, replay" speaks volumes to me. My interpretation of it is that on a day to day basis sometimes it feels like the wheels just simply turn round and replay the same shit, day in, day out, replay, exactly the same.

John Frusciante – Interstate Sex Lyrics 13 years ago
I basically think this is about the energy and feelings surrounding a man who wants a women 'completely', not just for the sex, but for the whole spectrum of human connection right down to the cellular level. He comes to realize that with this particular woman, this is unobtainable.

John Frusciante – Carvel Lyrics 13 years ago
I read an interview with the 'Froosh' and he described the feelings that enveloped him when he was detoxing off of heroin and cocaine, he no longer wanted to use either drug at all, but he totally wanted to escape the rehabilitation center, just to have a piece of "Carvel Cake". Whenever I listen to "Carvel" this scenario pops into mind, a man so determined to have a piece of cake that he wants to leave the rehab, not to seek illicit substances, but a wonderful concotion called "Carvel Cake".
Thats my interpretation anyways. :)

NOFX – Canada Has Better Heroin Lyrics 13 years ago
Im going to have to agree with Fat Mike on this one, being a person who has experienced all the fine things these lyrics have to offer on both sides of the border, the heroin IS better in Canada, and the strip clubs are waaaaayyyyy cleaner, with sexier strippers, but nothing beats a goodol' americana crack rock!

NOFX – The Idiots Are Taking Over Lyrics 13 years ago
"Majority rule, don't work in mental institutions"

I love this line, it's like saying it doesnt matter if you vote or not because when you leave the decision to a country full of idiots the outcome is always going to be disaster. I obviously know that not all Americans are idiots, but I would put money down saying that 85 out of every 100 (85%) would pass off as idiots IMO.

Tool – Aenema Lyrics 13 years ago
I believe it is generally about an apocalyptic event, notice how it says "Learn to swim, see you drown in Arizona Bay", obviously there is no "Arizona Bay", If California's faultlines "That cannot sit still" decided to rumble and the land gave way to water "flush it all away" and the entire state sunk underwater, you'd be left with Arizona Bay. I bought this albumyears ago and it came with one of those CD cases that change pictures as you tilt it back and forth. On the inside cover, under where the disc sits, there is a map of the USA, when you tilt the image, the west coast gets flooded by a sea of blue, and you get to see what the "Arizona Bay" reference means.
I honestly think when Maynard wrote this he was pissed off at the scummy LA scene and thought that he'd love to see an act of nature just wasah it all away into oblivion, God knows I've thought that about places before too!!!!!

Foster the People – Pumped Up Kicks Lyrics 13 years ago
I totally believe this song is about shooting up classmates, but I think the part about "Dinner is packed on ice" means that his father's "Dinner" is most likely a case of beer, packed in ice to stay nice and chilly fresh. The rest of your interpretation I agree with dude!
