I thought it was about a relationship too. More like he is comfortable in it and realizes that it isn't what he wants. He knows it may be the wrong decision, but he's going to stick with it no matter what. He's not going to be friends with them again, he's ending it completely. "You say can we still be friends" "If I was yours, but I'm not." The businessman part confuses me though. It makes me think that it is about their popularity becoming too much for them. Their fear of selling out. I think the relationship makes more sense for majority of the sound, but again the whole "businessmen drink my blood" part throws off that theory a little. |
