| I don't know why, but I think this is the greatest song in the world. It has a deep meaning that is hard to translate, it has amazing rythms and beats, It has a catchy verses and choruses, and It is a powerful song that is underrated but still finds fans that love just as much As I do. I've come up with a few possible meanings, but I still don't know if I'm right, but either way, this song is 100% perfection. | |

| I like your brothers opinion, and I think you guys put a lot of deep thought into this. I am not trying to prove you wrong, I am just going to state my opinion, so please don't think I'm trying to insult you in any way. I don't think the lyricists of Sponge would go that far into a story for a song. I think the meaning is a little more simpler. I have many guesses about the meaning, and this is what I've come up with. 1) Being Buried Alive In Your Thoughts. 2) Being Buried Alive In General. 3) The Comparence of Being Buried Alive And Dreaming. 4) Commiting Suicide By Hanging Ones-Self. 5) A Metaphor For Being Dead. 6) Being Pushed To The Verge Of Suicide. 7) Having Committed Suicide But Regret It So Badly That You Still Remain Connected To Earth By A Spirit That Cannot Be Heard. | I like you and your brothers opinion, and mine is pretty similar. I don't think the lyricist of Sponge would go that far into a story for a song, I would think it would be a tad more simpler. I think it is eather about being buried alive, comparing dreaming to being buried alive, commiting suicide by hanging ones-self, or possibly a metaphor for already being dead. Any of those sound possible? | |
