Am I not the only one who heard this song first from Heathers?
Wonderful, song. The innocence is haunting in a way, and it feels like something is lurking just behind each lyric. |

I know, right? I want to move to Montreal or Canada just for the music scene. They are kicking our asses over there.
Awesome song, by the way. |

The Lucksmiths – Adolescent Song Of Mindless Devotion Lyrics

"Brand New Colony" is by The Postal Service, not Death Cab.
I always feel ridiculous whenever I sing this song, being an adolescent and all, but I can't help myself. (: The song is dripping with irony, and it's just so catchy! |

Stars – Life Effect Lyrics

That's what I think, too. She was involved with an abusive man, and another man (a friend, maybe?) fights her boyfriend, which is what makes her get away from him. She is thankful to be away and in a new, more healthy life, while her ex wishes he'd apologized and kept her with him. That's just my interpretation, anywho. |

Tegan and Sara – Where Does the Good Go Lyrics

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this song makes me think that she's watching someone die of cancer who is putting on a strong face and acting cheerful.
It's love that leaves and breaks the seal
Of always thinking you would be
Real happy and healthy, strong and calm
I think she is wondering "Where does the good go?" in a sense that she's asking where the life before the cancer went. I love this song. (: |

Voxtrot – Raised By Wolves Lyrics

I think that this song is about the end of an open relationship that was already dysfunctional in the first place due to them having vastly different personalities. He saw her taking multiple lovers as wrong and became extremely jealous while she attacked him back and withdrew from him until the relationship finally ended badly. |
