yes this is very fun to get high to and to listen to.i think its true that you interpret what you can relate to.i relate to it 2 ways, the drugs and the lack of emotion after being metally tortured.its kinda nice to know what they(pink floyd) meant but fuck it, who cares? if i want the song to be about sewing or heroin or smurfs, and if i can manipulate the song to my interpretation than i am just as right as you are.man you guys who say your right are ignorant to the fact that other people "are guilty of showing emotion of a human sort" and relate to what makes them feel better. heroin sucks by the way, hallusanigins (forgive the spelling) are the way to go |

this song is absolutly brilliant.someone (too lazy to look for it) said that it was him talking in third person.i think that he is finding himself but having some kind of difficulty... Shrouding all the ground around me Is this holy crow above me Black as holes within a memory And blue as our new second sun this is a very metaphoracle verse that ive had trouble understanding.i think he speaks of his eye somehow...mabye he has blue eyes and the black part is the pupil.the third eye does see everything. I stick my hand into his shadow To pull the pieces from the sand Which I attempt to reassemble To see just who I might have been bob frissall said that birth 'is a VERY traumatic expirience and that all the fright in birth changes people.it causes permenent fear in breathing,and in air is prana and without it we die and the fear of breathing blocks the flow or prana' so i think the lack of prana weakins people and changes them. I do not recognize the vessel, But the eyes seem so familiar Like phosphorescent desert buttons this is a tricky one...i think he is trying to remember himself or remember somthing....i cant tell...but they seem familier because its said that the subconscious mind records and remembers everthing...that causes de ja vu(sorry bad spelling)... this song to me tells people to be happy in life and welcome the chance to be alive and breathing.life is not a punishment, it is a gift to be grateful for.and that all the pain of life will heal and be gone in the afterlife.which leads me to believe that they do have some sort of religion because atheists dont belive in the after life.nevertheless, this song is beautiful. oh and i think the name parabola represents a positive parabola: at first life is happy and gradually more and more pain builds. and the bottom of the parabola is death.and everything is better in the end. |
