Definitely about drugs in my opinion. 'We broke up a month ago and I grew up, I didn't know I'd be around the morning after It's always been wait and see A happy day and then you pay And feel like shit the morning after' He got off drugs a month ago, he didn't know he'd still be alive from doing drugs, it's always a wait and see with overdosing, you never know if you'll awake. Being high having a happy day, Withdrawl or coming off the high feeling like shit. Or then again in a more obvious manner it could be about an actual girl, maybe it's about doing drugs because of a girl. Elliott had a very obscure keen way of writing songs, love the man. <3 |

I defiantly think this has to do with borderline personality disorder aka bipolar. Bipolar people feel restless, and unenergized, 'it feels like I'm going to lose my mind' 'hope isn't a word' 'If you put up your head'- if that person looks positive to things, brightens up, instead of being manically depressed. I don't believe this has anything really to do with a married couple, it's much more deep. |
