the lyrics are so literal, and sort of bad. "Lies lies, you're telling me white lies sleeping with another man" 1. make it a little more poetic 2. it's not a 'white lie' if it's sleeping with another man, that's a 'huge lie' that said i enjoy it musically and this lyric "you say white lies I say so long yeah" is also literal but in a good way. |

| and also if abel is referring to the biblical Abel we remember the bible story where cain is a farmer and abel is a shepherd and god likes the lamb abel slaughters and sacrifices him but cain brings him fruits or whatever and god doesn't like it so cain kills abel and god knows. so perhaps our narrator is referring to herself as the first lamb to the slaughter when using the name Abel in the story? cheers wikipedia. | |

I think it's about a breakup and going out and seeing that person and it hurts to see them having a good time without you and you're pretending to have a good time without them too but it hurts so damn much. and you wish it wasn't over and maybe can't see yourself moving on hence "please let me be easy to love" because you lost yourself in the relationship. |
