Ludo – Part IV: Morning in May Lyrics

it took me forever to realize... and i might be wrong... but i think this whole album is kinda one big crazy way to say that, no matter how much shit you have to go through in a relationship, there will always be that one moment you spend with your loved one that makes it all worth it. like in part 4, when he curls up next to her. he went through everything, the dinosaurs, the zombies, everything, just for that one moment with her. but it was worth it.

Fall Out Boy – The Carpal Tunnel of Love Lyrics

i'm pretty sure it's "got postcards from my former self" and "robbing lips and kissing banks"
robbing lips and kissing banks, it's like the reversal of the two words from two different phrases in a way that it still makes sense. Just like in Sugar We're Goin Down: "Drop a heart, break a name"
in this song, that line is about how they're making money off of songs about girls :) |

the dances on the wall are the shadows, as he's sitting there all by himself for days; maybe literally, or maybe he just means it felt like a long time
idk is that too obvious? i just noticed nobody has mentioned that yet :) |

Fall Out Boy – America's Suitehearts Lyrics

everybody says its about either celebrities, the u.s. economy, pete himself, or masturbation. i think it's about all three, that's what makes it so great; not necessarily that it's so vague that its meaning can be attributed to anything, but because it makes you think about all these things, and that's what i think is the greatest thing a piece of art can do: make you think |

Fall Out Boy – The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes Lyrics

im pretty sure it's "every letter, and every song, i wrote myself out of the day, we ever had to meet"
i know what the lyric book says, but it is definitely not "grudge", and wrote myself out of the day makes more sense in this case, becuz hes saying he avoided writing about the days when he had to meet this girl.
this song and homesick at spacecamp will be played at my funeral, im sure |

before i read this, the only parts i understood were "growing up" and "i guess i'm on my own"
it all makes sense now
"i guess i'm my own better half" - i cant believe i never noticed that before, thats so awesome
i wish patrick stump could have written the lyrics to all of their later songs, hes great, at least now i can look forward to his own album, with all his own thoughts again |
