This song makes me think of my ex and my relationship. We started dating in the middle of sophomore year and our relationship was great for most of it. We had great memories and we had a lot of fun. We dedicated songs to each other and our relationship was almost perfect. Then things got rough and we ended up having a messy break up. It wasn't easy to move on and in all honesty I don't even think I've completely moved on yet, but I haven't let it affect my life. His life, on the other hand, went downhill. We broke up mainly because of his actions and choices and he turned to drugs and alcohol over the summer, causing our relationship to get rough, and even more so after we broke up. His life plummeted and he is dealing with an endless number of problems right now. If he kept his life straightened out the entire time, we could still be together today. He "got away" to drugs and alcohol. He pretty much tried to forget about the memories we made and what we had but he can't. He now begs for me back but I know that it will never be the same as it was before. He got away, and he can't come back. |

This song really helped me a lot with my current situation. My boyfriend and I broke up a week ago because he had some personal problems that he needed to deal with and I understood. I soon found out a little more about him and how he took advantage of me towards the end of our relationship(we dated for 9 months) and how he lied to me, flirted with other girls, etc, and it really hurt me. He really screwed me up mentally and I have a really hard time trusting other guys now and I will never forget what he did to me. Although I was (and still am) so hurt, I've been trying to just get passed him and keep my head up. This song helped me understand that life keeps going no matter what happens in my life and that things will get better. |

This song is pretty important to me right now and I guess I feel I should share my story too. So I dated my (now ex) boyfriend for 9 months and I'll honestly say they were the best of my life. I loved him with everything I had and I fought so hard for him. There were times when I could've easily gotten away with cheating on him and I was even asked to prom but I said no to everything just for him. I was always there for him and I did my best to talk to him and see him and he really meant the entire world to me. When summer came around, I realized he changed a little but I put it behind me and thought it was just a phase. While we were on the phone a week ago, we mutually agreed to break up because he had a lot of personal stuff to deal with and he just wasn't into it anymore. Well his best friend ratted him out about how he lied to me about a lot of things over the summer and how he flirted with other girls and how he talked shit about me and stopped caring. I called my ex and that phone call pretty much confirmed everything his friend told me and it made me see that my ex's excuse was total bullshit and at that point I was just totally disgusted but I still thought I would never get over him. It's been a week and I can honestly say I really don't care too much for him anymore. He was a real jerk and I deserve so much better. I can't wait for the day karma goes and kicks his ass ten times harder than he hurt me. This song describes all my feelings right now, and if he ever calls me again, it's an automatic no. |

Wow I can't believe this song only has 6 comments..well it's one of my favorite songs and the lyrics are awesome. Pretty much it's about a guy in a relationship with a girl and it's about how great their relationship is. Like any other relationship, sometimes things aren't good but they work through the bad times and enjoy the good times together and that's what relationships are about. Basically, he really loves her and feels something towards her. Beautiful song :) |

I know that most likely nobody will read this since it will be on page 3 or 4 but i'd like to pretend someone will. Pretty much this song describes my life right now. I'm currently a sophomore in high school and several months back, I was in a 2 week relationship with the senior captain of the football team. I realized this was pretty much every girl's dream and I really liked him. By the 2nd week, I knew things weren't working and at this point a friend of a friend started bbming me and we started talking, but nothing serious because I was in this other relationship at the time. I even contemplated not talking to him because I felt guilty, but something told me to keep him around. Turns out, the football captain broke up with me a few days after me and Eddie started talking, but for some reason I was okay with that. I continued to talk to Eddie and I knew he was attracted to me from the start but it took me a little while to develop feelings for him, considering at this point I liked a completely different guy. Well anyway, I started to feel something for him and after about a month, we told each other how we felt and wow that meant so much to me. He asked me out on January 1st and I said yes in a heartbeat, and we've been dating for almost 3 months now. I've never been so in love before. Yeah, I've had some cool boyfriends before, but nobody even compares to Eddie. I can't imagine life without him and he's so important to me. Now I'm rambling, but the point of this story was that this song describes everything I'm feeling right now and from this whole experience I learned that the person who really loved me was right in front of me, and now I wouldn't rather have it any other way. Amazing song, sorry for rambling! |

this song means so much to me. it pretty much describes my entire summer of 2010. well there was this guy who i had a summer fling with at camp and it was amazing. camp ended and we both said goodbye and we decided not to stay together over the year because of distance. well ever since the last day of camp, we text everyday and we are great friends. we both miss each other so much and we both wanna be together so bad but we know that it wouldnt work out. now that summer has ended and school has begun, its just been hard for me (and probably him too) to be without each other every night like how it was at camp. each day seems so lonely without him and this song describes it perfectly. he made it the best summer of my life and well, it was worth it in the end :)

this song is amazing. its one of taylor swifts best songs and i can totally relate. when i was with my ex boyfriend, i was madly in love with him and he seemed to feel the same way about me. he would constantly remind me that i was the best thing that ever happened to him and that i meant the world to him. well one day he broke up with me out of the blue and didnt give me a valid reason. i called him a few nights later and asked for a real reason. he had lied to me the entire time..he never really loved me and he just said the things he said to make conversation. he broke my heart and i had never been so hurt in my life. and as awful as i felt and still feel today, he will always have a place in my heart. this song means everything to me, thank you taylor <3 |
