Burial – Kindred Lyrics 12 years ago
I love this song, and I've been trying to figure out which song it samples, with no success. Probably some obscure R&B song. After listening to the vocal sections over and over, this is my best guess at what is being said. There is some variation as far as the manipulation of the samples, but at their clearest (2:30) I think the lines are:

I feel alive with you
I find a light with you
Baby you can find a light
Baby you can find the light

Matthew Good – Avalanche Lyrics 13 years ago
This is an amazing song, and one of my top favourites by Matthew Good. Every time I hear it, I'm reminded how much I like his songs of this style. The near-hopeless, brooding, destruction ballads.

I love the whole middle section of the song that starts with "If everyone's a casualty...". The lyrics are great and the words flow so seamlessly together that you get sort of wrapped up in the snowball that is forming. By the end of the sequence the avalanche is in full effect, with the destroyed "I'm heir to it all" audio. I can't get over how powerful it is, to hear that line chopped to pieces and stretched on top of the seriously epic instrumentation. One of the most memorable and absolutely disarming song sequences of the generation.

Eluvium – Leaves Eclipse the Light Lyrics 13 years ago
This is a gorgeous and heartbreaking song. To me, it's about thinking about what was and what could have been. Fabricating alternate timelines in your head, and daydreaming about them to escape a hopeless reality.
