Rihanna – Rude Boy Lyrics 14 years ago
I honestly don't think that your kids are gonna be traumatic after listening to this song - most kids don't know what she's singing about anyway. jesus, i mean - Rihanna made a song, the radiostations played it, you get angry at Rihanna? She can sing about whatever she fucking wants to, but it's the radiostations choice to play it. And seriously, take it easy - you don't have to wrap up the world for your dear ones, someday they'll know what all those things mean, and they're not gonna die whenever the word "sex" is being mentioned. I think it's soo typical americans to say stuf like that and to BIIIp swearing words. Besides, Rihanna isn't a very good artist according to me, but stil - calm down, alright? (:

Lily Allen – Sunday Morning Lyrics 14 years ago
I looove this song! So raw, so cool, so real. It's basically about these two lovers who seemed to just enjoy eachother and not really commiting. Then a sunday morning he tells her that he loves he - BAMM, and he killed it. It as in their relaxed and undifficult so called "relationship". So she starts wondering and thinking, and she has no clue what to say back to him - well, that's untill she realizes that she loves him too.

This is definately what i would call a hot song(:

The Killers – Mr. Brightside Lyrics 14 years ago
I don't know if this has been said before in here, but i think that most of you guys hit it right. Only i think that the person singing the song is "the other man" - as in the man she's having an affair with. The man she's with when he sings "But she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now" is according to me "The Husband" or just the real, official boyfriend. So this guy singing is jealous, mad, having paranoia and imagining the worst things - but he really doesn't have the right to do so, since he's not her boyfriend/husband. When he knows that she's with this other man, and he seems to have accepted the fact(otherwise he would kick her ass!), she must have told him - and why would she have told him, if the singing guy was her husband and the guy taking off her dress was the guy she was cheating with? That's simple - the singing guy is the other man(:

So that's just what i think, although all of your good arguments made me doubt it.

ps. isn't this song freaking amazing?! And the way he's singing "But she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now. Let me go" - gosh, there's just soo much pain in his voice, i can't take it!

The Kooks – Naive Lyrics 14 years ago
Wauw, i just found out the meaning! Yay, i love those moments when you realize what the song is about(:

Well, i think that all of you guys are right about most things. Basically the song's about a boy who loves his girlfriend, but she's cheating on him.

What the lines say:

"I'm not saying it was your fault, although you could have done more" - he's not saying that it's her fault that the relationship isn't working out, but he thinks that she could have done more to make it better.

"How could this be done by such a smiling sweetheart" - suggests that his beautiful and perfect love has done something really wrong - in this case i think it's cheating.

"I know she knows, that i'm not fond of asking. True or false it may be, but she's still out to get me" - he knows that she knows, that he doesn't like asking her if she's cheating. It can be true or it can be false that she's cheating, but she's out to get him anyway.

"And everytime you're on his side" - argh, so much pain in his voice when he says this! I think it means that it's killing him when she takes the other guys side - he probably knows who she's cheating with, so whenever she takes his side, he knows it's because she loves him more.

"Just don't let me down, hold on to this kite" - i think he's saying to her that he doessn't want to end the relationship, that she can't let him down, and that she has to hold on to him (him as in this kite).

Anyways, a great song with an even greater meaning! Love you Kooks!

The Kooks – Do You Love Her Lyrics 14 years ago
Well, i think it's a really good and realxing song. The meaning is actually really good - a subject that most people has thought about, so it relates to many people.

The meaning is that he is in a relationship that works fine and he loves being with her and she loves him and so on. He's saying that he will be true to her, love her and only her, but then he gets the question "Do you love her". He loves being with her and the relationship, but he just doesn't know if he really loves her. I think the point of the song is that you can be in a relationship and it can be a healthy and good relationship, although you don't know if you love the other one.
