I guess you can say it's how rapping consumed his life to the point he was imprisoned and how he will no longer allow that to happen? I mean, it did run his life into the ground. Additionally, I also heard that the '25' may also be a reference to the SSLP, which dropped when he was 25. |

This actually makes a lot of sense. I can't believe I missed this. I was trying really hard to figure out what the "corny metaphor" was. I thought it was the line preceding it, but that didn't make any sense. |

I actually think this is one of the better hooks on the album. It really captures the isolation Em experienced subsequent to Proof's death, his addiction to drugs, and his temporary fall from the game. |
