30 Seconds to Mars – This Is War Lyrics 14 years ago
I had listened to this song during its debut and was won over by its powerful sound and awesome epic vocals. However, recently I read Huxley's Brave New World for school and I instantly saw the connection with the iPod blaring on my way home. It makes so much sense candychaos.

sh3rman, yes Huxley was alluding to Shakespeare. But in his novel of ideas, Huxley actually means to title it so out of irony. The 'brave new world' of Miranda's speech in The Tempest meant the actually realization of a society absent of immoral-ism and brimming over with happiness and justice. Huxley's "Brave New World" makes a mockery of this ideal by extrapolating a strand of human circumstance and developing a world where individuality is gone, sex and drugs are encouraged, and the brave few that still retain their mentality are either drunk with power or doomed to penitent suicide.
