| You guys have to understand that Circa Survive has been around for almost half a decade if not a bit more. You cant expect the music to be the same. I mean, really...did you expect another on letting go or juturna? Bands have to grow. On top of that, the new album doesnt really have a theme as the other two. Yeah, its different. The lyrics to some songs are more simple than the past...that might be bc AG didnt write all t he songs to BKN. You have to admit that the whole album blends in....sooooo...well. | |

To be honest, this is prolly one of my favorite Circa Survive songs. I love the part "What I tried to say (this isn?t real, and I feel ashamed that I don?t think that I can heal) It?s a shame that I would pretend before making amends" and "If we know each other then why should it be so hard to make it stop?" It's like a slap in the face that the one person who you thought you loved the most or had a very strong bond with ...well you hit a wall and you cant seem to forgive them or make amends. You love them so much..that you almost lie to yourself. The perfect love is one that is unconditional. Why is it so hard to forgive and make amends when you love each other? To make the hurt go away? We push the betrayal away...we try to man up and heal...shake it off. In the end, we cant heal and its embarrassing...because didnt we have the perfect love? Its such a good song and I can go on forever about it..haha |
