This song is about "The Law of Attraction". It's a warning to everyone as to what's going on on a cosmic level. If you're not familiar with Rhonda Byrnes book the secret that came out around 2006, Madonna is trying to pass on some very important information as to what's going to happen in 2012 and IS happening now. The law of attraction is a universal law that says what you put your attention on you attract. So if you say I am a healthy person you attract health, but if you say I don't want cancer...guess what you're attracting? Yup...cancer. "4 minutes to save the world is just that." 4 minutes to try to educate the masses. I teach this as well as mind, body, and spirit. I think this song has to do with empowerment of the mind. Most of us are stuck in what's called phsychological time. In short, our mind is controlling us rather than us/spirit controlling the mind. We are stuck in thinking about past thoughts or constantly thinking of future scenarios. Our mind often time runs away with us causing us to stress out. This sometimes can lead to severe stress and sometimes disease. I teach mind body & spirit. I was about to add this song to my website as an example of psychological time when I found this website. In a nutshell the present moment/ "the now" is the only thing that's real. It's where life happens. I think "disturbia" is the state in which we over think and have no peace of mind.
