That makes me think of people I know who are really smart and who say they don't believe in god or religion, but who read the Bible, Torah, and Koran to educate themselves since these books are so powerful in our World. That is a good one. Thanks for sharing, I had not picked that up. It is an epiphany! That is pretty deep, he also says that his boss will do it, he will find those blind spots... By what you have so eloquently described I have come up with an insight. This being that those blind spots might be where the "evil" things in life happen, that most people say that God isn't looking if he's letting those bad things happen (e.g. rape, murder, child abuse). There is so much to write about, I am blown away. |

Here go a few opinions: What about "baby cum angels..." in the dictionary the meaning of the word "Cum" is to be with or combined with. Is it just semantics or is he talking about the baby being with the angels now that he is dead... Also the reference to our blood being just like the Atlantic, could be (in a literal/scientific) way, that our blood is very similar to seawater. (Research http://www.seashellsandsuch.com/articles/seawaterlikeblood.php) Modest Mouse is a great band, such unique music & lyrics, we could write endless things about them...
