Sia – Moon Lyrics 13 years ago
I'm not too big of a Sia fan, but god how I adore her love songs. The lyrics are pretty simple and short, but so deep and interpretative. Her chorus is so sweet and its a feeling everyone's felt before when dealing with an unrequited love; but never had I heard it put so beautifully.

I love her, and I love the chorus of this song! This chick is definitely gonna have more than 15 minutes of fame; this is talent!

John Lennon – Oh My Love Lyrics 13 years ago
Every now and then this song makes it onto one of my playlists and when it does, I just have to keep it on repeat for a while. Its really brief and quiet, which is why I think it goes over most people's heads.
I get that to most people today, know John Lennon as the guy that sand Imagine; but honestly he should also be known for his love songs (ie: Real Love, Love, ect..). All of them are so simple and raw and just so damn good.

Robyn – Dancing On My Own Lyrics 13 years ago
I a lot of girls have found themselves in this situation at least once in their lives; whether it was at the school dance that one time, or at the club that other night, or that one party ^^ This song just seems really relatable and I think that's why it's so great. I'm so glad I heard it on Gossip Girl ^^

Lady GaGa – Then You'd Love Me Lyrics 13 years ago
I absolutely adore this song! Lyrically it is kind of simple, but I think its that same simplicity that makes it work so well! The version I've heard is obviously a demo and needs a few tweaks, but other than that I would love if she released this officially and more people heard it. But I can't really see that happening; she's shown some definite evolvement/improvement between this song and her current material. Regardless, I still really like it and am a little surprised no one else has commented on it!

I like the lyrics of this version better than the origin version
but i wish she would've sung this version better :/

The Beatles – The Fool on the Hill Lyrics 14 years ago
They used this in Dinner for Schmucks in reference to Steve Carrell's character. Although I'd heard this song tons of times before, it had never really made an impact on me till I associated with Carell's character. And if anyone has seen that movie (and if you haven't go watch it, its pretty hilarious), I'm sure you'll agree that he makes the song, just that much sadder; or vice versa.

Garbage – Drop Dead Gorgeous Lyrics 14 years ago
I downloaded this song years ago off limewire, and it had been under Garbage so I guess that's so many misconceptions come from. after a few listens though I eventually realized it wasn't Shirley singing :P

Garbage – Vow Lyrics 14 years ago
hmmm that "I nearly died" bit was reminiscent of No Reply by the Beatles...I've noticed that Garbage likes to borrow lines from lots of old classic rock songs, but then again maybe its all a coincidence :/

Taylor Swift – Fifteen Lyrics 14 years ago
Before this song I wasn't really much of a Taylor Swift fan. I only knew one other song, but my little fifteen year old cousin recommended this to me so I gave it a shot..and I actually teared up the first time I heard it! I connected with all the things she talked about. Although I know she's got a lot of younger fans (particularly in that middle school-high school age group), believe me this song makes such a bigger impact when you listen to it later in life. I'm only nineteen and it caught me by such surprise how much I liked it! What I'm trying to say is; even if her fame fades out in a few years (which i doubt, but who knows) this is definitely one of those songs that's gonna live beyond her time in the spotlight. And with good reason too :)
