Agreed in a kinda different way as everyone else. Someone or a group of people following someone as a good Christian or good Christian figure and than that person turns around and leads them "astray" or in the wrong direction. |

I interpret it as someone who is a drinker. It is just another mood of them and it is another side of the truth. (Telling the truth when you drink) And mayhaps they are talking to a friend or son/daughter that if they started drinking they'd end up the same way (in each other's shoes) |

Ok. I think I got this one. It is a father talking to his son. "why can't you be more like me? but it always end the same." father wants his son to be like him but son's are very often contrary or very different from their father's anyway. And every son in perfect in their father's eyes. (well alot anyways.) Hope I helped. It was an incomplete thought so add to it please! |

I was listening and decided to take a stab at it. Maybe its about someone who is going through a crisis of some kind and they go through a change (probably personality or looks.) and they are asking a close friend or family maybe God if that after all that he'd been through and all that changed, would they even recognize him/her? (aka: would you know my name?)("running away" representing running from old ways and changing) |

After posting I came to another realization. the Chorus "lights out...etc" if you had a room full of people and the lights went off then everyone would be insecure and would all be afraid. Standing up, or reaching out would show the courage and the individuallity and strength to do something different (something instead of hiding,crying,etc.). |

Completely agreed. It really does make you feel better! Try listening to it when you need to blow off steam. I find it got stuck in my head after an argument with my mom, or a bad test grade, or even when I'm in a good mood after getting my girlfriend, getting large tip after work or even to go to sleep to. It just makes you feel good no matter what. |
