At first when i saw the timing of this song i thought NO WAY! thats really long.. but...just listening to it takes the time away and the surrounding noise around me. its amazing! pt.i has to be my favorite.but the whole song is just completly amazing.. i just love listening to it.. He has such hearfelt lyrics that just blow me away..LOVE IT! |

I like your view about the song..I can see your point... As Ben has said, there is no direct meaning to the song that he has written, How he feels about a song could mean something totally different. He said as long as someone can connect to a song, then nothing is wrong and nothing is right. Thats why you never hear him say what a specific song is about. we all have different views of things...This is suchs an amazing powerful song, that gets me everytime.. when i listen to this song, its not a song i normally sing to (like others) its a song that i have to stay quiet too, and listen to everyword that he says. its just as important to us as it is to him =) |

this has to be my favorite breaking benjamin song... we all know Ben has powerful lyrics but this is by far the best on my opinion. the way the song starts is just great, and his voice is so different...this song always reminds me of my grandpa.. i love the line "rain taps the window as we sleep amomg the dead" when he says "white walls surround us, no light will touch your face again" that just brings me back to reality. knowing that i wont see him again... "days go on forever but i have not left your side" thats just saying that i wont forget you. and i still havent..as i've gotten older, i think about him more often than i have before. This is such an amazing and beautifully written song. |

That has to be my favorite verse in the song too.. especially "a song for a heart so big God wouldn't let it live" this has to be one of their greatest songs to date... =) |
