I feel that this song is one that you relate to in many different ways... I take it to be about someone's first relationship, when you care about someone a lot and then it doesn't work out. Basically, when you fall for someone for the first time, it's confusing. You don't know what to do, why you feel this way. You think that this is love, the real thing. And then, you grow up! You realize that this, all of it, it's not been real... And then you become a 'misguided ghost', 'travelling endlessly' to 'find someone to rely on'.... You don't hate the person you fell for.. you just realize that this.. this wasn't it... Well, that's my perception. I don't think, seeing this page, that anyone feels the same way about the song! |

He's got such an amazing voice.... When I look at Josh's pics and compare the old ones to the new ones, it feels like something's wrong... Look at this video:

You can see the difference between some of the pics... The way he uses the word 'sinner' so many times, the way he uses it to refer to himself... And something always seemed wrong between him and Hayley for a while... Like something happened. It's not very visible, but I've observed them a lot and seen flashes of it many times... Feels like something happened. He did something or something happened to him... Something went wrong... Like something forces him to be so serious and sort of upset. And I feel like something happened between Hayley and him... and that is what this song is about. |

@ColumbineKid, it's best to leave religion out of the entire thing. You don't believe in god, I do. The next person may, or may not. I do agree with the fact that Eric and Dylan were wronged, they didn't deserve the treatment they got... Ok, so the hate would have been building up inside, lots of hate, the desire to hurt. Hurt in a way that things'll never be the same again. On top of that... thrill. They must've been thrilled at the thought of doing something that no one else had ever thought they were capable of. But you don't kill that way, do you? If you don't like something, if you're wronged, or even just feel that way, you speak up for your rights. You don't let it build up on the inside until it gets uncontrollable. Then you're just a destructo-machine which sucks in all the happiness around you. You take lives... kill... leave them bleeding in a corner.... It's pretty much a dead end..... And then you wake up, your senses just seem to be working again... But by then, it's too late... By then, you become your own death, by then, it's time for the end, the end which you bring upon yourself. I'm guessing that's what happened to Harris. He felt remorse, he seemed to be hot-blooded and passionate... from what I gather, Klebold was just totally imbalanced and he enjoyed himself thoroughly while killing. Real psychiatrist imbalanced, I mean. But c'mon, they weren't martyred by our society alone. They died of hate... the hate they had inside them... They died of.... themselves... |

So I think that is the true story. And incidentally, I agree with the other two. Rachel was not killed in the library. |

See, I'm a Nirvana fan and I love Flyleaf too... So I'd say that this cover should not be judged keeping in mind the original. I mean, obviously, the song itself has to be kept in mind. But you have to understand that Lacey can't do the song like Kurt did. This cover is like her interpretation of the song. Admittedly, it's different... But, what on earth, isn't that the point? They covered it because they wanted it to be Flyleaf's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.... Nirvana is a legend and they rocked. All I say is, it's unfair to compare this cover with the original. it's just so.... DIFFERENT! |
