Deeper is the moral of this story: the band lyricist is annoyed at the redefinition and evolution of what it means to be in good conviction; simply, in cold times, the gift of having human intellect and awareness is squandered like money in trees, into superficial reality so that people like him whine about it; rather, he is trying to communicate with a superficial nature to somehow humanize culture. | |

THis is a very simple , yet philosophical song about being an animal in this bioshpere. animals come in different shapes, but more importantly we try to avert ourselves with holes of money. this song means that we are animals, and the question posed is: is this an inhibiting or enhancing factor? be an animal! |

I've been jumping all over but my views are slowly shrinking You progress in letters, but you're used to cooking broccoli Then we did believe in magic and we did die It's not my words that you should follow, it's your insides You're just an inside these are the relevant lines...he relates himself to a peacebone, how he has traveled everywhere, but like water in a hose he ends in a yard, to be found, when things were the way they were...all the superfluity in the world shouldnt keep one from pursuing his/her dream hence the very important line: "Oh well she bore all her parts but she never was found You think "I'll carve a path through New York and be an artist", but are you anything?" trying to make sense of thesse lyrics is like trying to ask a baby to cry...good song! |
