Jason Molina – No Hand Was at the Wheel Lyrics 11 years ago
Love this track, so bleak, so sparse. Beautiful. Rest in Peace Jason.

The version of this song on the live "Trials and Errors" album is powerful.

Songs: Ohia – Being In Love Lyrics 12 years ago
Man oh man. When I first purchased this album I must say that I did not care for this song that much. After many rotations and especially after downloading a live version it dawned on me how incredibly awesome this track is. So simple. To be in total love with someone you have to let yourself go. You have to take risks, stand on the edge and just jump and hope that the person catches you. Molina's song writing is second to none.

Wow, How has no one commented on this yet. Mark took a down and dirty tune and turned it into a balled. Amazing!!!

Neil Young – Crime In The City Lyrics 14 years ago
This is one of my favorite NY songs. I first ever heard it on the Freedom VHS video. A few comments have said that the Weld version is best but I say that the VHS version is best. It is just Neil, his guitar, and his harmonica. I think you can really hear the anger in his voice with this one. Seems like this song is his scathing review of the modern world. The album version of the song seems almost bubblegum pop compared to the VHS. The Weld version is definitely rocking but it is not as personal and "in your face" as the VHS version. Just my thoughts...
