I want this as a ringtone so badly but sadly it's not availible without the completely justified laughter of the audience. :(

The Mighty Boosh – The Crimp Lyrics 12 years ago
This is incorrect. According to Noel and Julian in The Mighty Book of Boosh, it's
"Oo Oo Oo/I did a twisty/Oo Oo Oo/A tiny twisty/Twist him up, twist him down/Twist him all around/Like the cobra/Dancing to the music of/The pipe, the pipe, the pipe/The pipe of life/Aa ee ai ee ah ee ai/Kalamar shalamar/Cinima in the night/It's such a good thing/Don't forget to bring popcorn/Tony and his Paper Castle"
And, it's called the "TWISTY CRIMP", FYI

A Fine Frenzy – Liar, Liar Lyrics 13 years ago
I love the chorus, but the verses are kind of out of place for me. They lyrics fit, but the way she sings them just doesn't seem to flow for me. I would have named it "Your Siren's Song" since that part is my favorite (And I'm a greek mythology nerd)

A Fine Frenzy – Hope for the Hopeless Lyrics 13 years ago
I think this is her most uplifting song. Though I like to listen to Rangers more than this song for the musical component itself, the lyrics to this one are indescribably uplifting. This song stopped me from suicide, and ever since has been what I turn to in tough times. I was dealt a crappy hand (diagnosed with type one diabetes at seven years old, diagnosed with bipolar a few months later, diagnosed with aspergers at fourteen. eight surgeries to date with the first at five years old and the latest at fifteen) When I discovered this song, I started to feel peace for the first time that I can remember. I was just coming down from mania at the time, and that is the toughest (in my opinion) part of bipolar. It literally stopped the depression half of the spectrum from getting really bad, and I've been stable ever since. I truly believe that God was sending me a message through my pandora station.

Natalie Imbruglia – Torn Lyrics 14 years ago
I went to my sisters dance recital last year and another group (not hers) did a rouine to this song. I remember thinking that it was the second best performance and realizing half of it was in the music choice. It was a group of four or five teenage girls, and they came on one group after my sister. It was a nice contrast to her hip-hop performance. Ever since, there are two songs I love more than anything. This, and On My Bones by Kendall Payne

Nickelback – Where Do I Hide Lyrics 14 years ago
Sorry, typo:
That should be "it's what America's (I don't know where you from, but I''m a United States-ian)founding fathers fought for"

submissions
Nickelback – Where Do I Hide Lyrics 14 years ago
Why would you post that? A lot - probably most - of the people on this page like them. I understand that you have the freedom to say what you want, it's what America's (I don't know where you from, but I''m a United States-ian) That doesn't mean you should. I have the right to call my math teacher a terrible, terrible person who must be clinicly insane in order to be involved in such a proffesion, but if I did that, my grade would likely be slaughtered.
And anyway, if you don't like them than why are you on here to begin with... Are you here just to knock our taste in music? If so, than I'll exercise my right to free speech:
You are a pathetic human being who was likely bullied as a child. Your worthless, brain only generates malicious thoughts, and obviously can't tell that Nickleback is composed of more than one person. You know what, My Iron Lung, Your mom! Yeah, I went there. You son (or daughter) of a baklava!

A Fine Frenzy – The Minnow and the Trout Lyrics 14 years ago
Evolution is real, yes. That much everyone can agree with, even those who, like me, believe that God created all life. It's the "We were one cell in the sea in the beginning" part that makes it controversial. As a Roman Catholic, I believe God created all the different species and then they evolved from there, not that everything came from one little cell. I do love this song though, as it doesn't focus on evolution itself, but that we all ought to help each other out, because no matter how different we may seem on the outside, we are all one whole.

Rob Thomas – Fire On The Mountain Lyrics 14 years ago
I always thought of it as being about a war.
Breakdown:

Fire on the mountain
through the freeze, save yourself
there's evil in the garden
but you don't see it, I can tell

-Most people do not fully realize how terrible things can get. It's evil and destructive, but many donot know the full extent of it.

how do you sleep while the city's burning?
where do you go when you can't go home?
how do you drink when there's blood in the water?
where do you turn when the world moves on?

-how can people live when something as terrible as a war is happening. Rhetorical Questions.

hell, I see smoke out on the horizon
mama, get your baby, take her down to the water
I view the wind like a promise broken
I see the future but it's getting farther

-Mamma, save your child. Water represents safety from the 'fire'. "I see the future but it's getting farther" = It's getting more and more difficult to decipher the future of our world. Peace is getting harder and harder to imagine

Papa Roach – Roses On My Grave Lyrics 14 years ago
It could be just a grammatical error, but it's a biggie imo. I don't like the way it implies that a woman is an "it".
This song is amazingly beautiful.

Toto – Africa Lyrics 14 years ago
How do you get that from her comment?
My uncle lived in Arica for a period of time on a mission and the nature there can be very beutiful.
Plus, all sorts of races live in Africa. That's like saying since white people are a majority in america, liking america makes you racist.
PLUS, she could just be saying sh likes the song. I adore this song.
I agree that some things do need to be said, but that's not one of them. Do you think you could possibly be pushing your own beliefs onto her because you're ashamed of them? Notice how I didn't call you racist, but merely asked.

One eskimO – Kandi Lyrics 14 years ago
really, only the "he called me baby" parts are covers... kind of. they took cliips from another song (by Candi) and inserted it into the song. that's why it seems like the guy has hearing problems and for some reason cant understand what shes saying.

I love this song, even though I just heard it. My friend told me to get it on iTunes, so I did. I listened to the excerpt before buying it, but that was a few weeks ago and somehow I just listened to the whole thing. I have no idea how that happened. I Really do like it.

Oren Lavie – A dance 'round the memory tree Lyrics 14 years ago
I'm pretty sure it's "I'll meet you young and free/for a dance round the memory tree" I think that makes more sense than "I'll miss you young ans sweet/ for a dance round memory tree" It's sounds like it would be I'll se you again, but only in the memories that dance through my head, around and around, over and over.

Evanescence – Lithium Lyrics 14 years ago
@MarinaRose... THANK YOU
I'm sick of misconceptions about it.
I'm bipolar, and I have been since I was 9.
I know people say you have to be 20 or whatever to be diagnosed, but I went on mood stablizers... Lithium, coincedentaly... when I was 9 and stopped actual rapid-cycling.
Too bad I got diabetes and had to stop the lithium because I couldn't check my glucose because of the damn tremors.
My meds are getting better, though!
I had to put that in there, because I'm just so excited. Ignore me if you want.
Yeah, I found this song when doing research on mood stablizers. I don't really like it that much though.

I love this song and another you best from this album. I love this song so much. It's pretty much self-explanitory, but just to reiterate, It seems to be about her wanting more time with a guy but he left, then (going out on a limb here) her buddies told her to get over it but she can't

my dad has a 'songs of the 70's thing going and has since a was really really little. This was probably the first of second song I learned all the words to. This and Billy, Don't be a Hero were in close running. I loved Run, Joey, Run and Spirit In The Night when I was A baby too, probably scared my parents to death with those picks. Anyway, I think this song is very beautiful and has meaning to everyone in this world.
