i think the natural resounding echo in his voice is the only thing that comes close to matching will sheff's lyrics. sort of snaps you into this zone of misery but misery so miserably holy that it feels right. this isn't a direct interpretation of the lyrics, obviously. just a general emotional reaction to this beautiful song. |

oh, the moral dilemma. it sounds like he's talking about someone working in corporate america. selling your soul, be it for rent or for material pleasures.
