Starfucker – Pop Song Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Your body is a cord For a rusty bag of nails Laying by the sea the nails part is easy to hear, i still am trying to make out the "cord" word, it sounds like "world" but there is a hard consonant sound at the beginning of the word. And I can hear him saying "for" before the second line, so that leads me there. Your skin is slipping off The seaweed and urchins Feeding on your bones You've got a hand up in the window Like the baseball bat lying next to your bed To protect yourself Oh but its such a joke A silly dream Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, |
Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal Lyrics | 14 years ago |
according to Wiki a hymn is "a type of song, usually religious, specifically written for the purpose of praise, adoration or prayer, and typically addressed to a deity or deities.." under deity Wiki says "A deity is a postulated preternatural or supernatural immortal being, who may be thought of as holy, divine, or sacred, held in high regard, and respected by believers." I think this song is just a beautifully painted picture of young life. adventuring and playing recklessly. Praising these children who the narrator obviously holds in high regard. he watches over them and silly michael slips on some ice and hits his little face.. my brother used to do it all the time. |
of Montreal – Faberge Falls for Shuggie Lyrics | 14 years ago |
@2:45 i think the line is "I wanna put out so bad, but something that's sad: the kids are probably right." then it goes.. "Are you deflating? (huh?) That's a question! (oh) i dont know, i dont know.. (ok)" |
