Alice in Chains – Down In A Hole Lyrics 14 years ago
True but is it possible that the one that died was thier source of emotional support? Who is to tell this person to keep on living? What is thier motivation? My aunt and uncle met a homeless woman at a shelter who was a lawyer. What happened is that her son and husband died in a car crash and she was left alone. Her reason for living and caring had died with them.

Alice in Chains – Would? Lyrics 14 years ago
lol. I'm pretty sure the song is about family trust issues. Which does increase the probablity of substance abuse for the child has guidance troubles when broken by thier master.

Alice in Chains – Again Lyrics 14 years ago
I believe it's about an abusive relationship. Someone is being abused over and over again but it may be physical or verbal abuse. The point is to be vague so that it speaks to whom ever is experiencing the actual events or anything similar to them. Remember the individual makes up the true meaning of the song. What does it mean to them? What does it mean to you?

Alice in Chains – A Little Bitter Lyrics 14 years ago
I think its about a provider that is not recieving proper respect from the person they are providing for. This provider would most likely be having problems with money and can't afford to take care of this person. The person that is being cared for does not appriciate the hell that the provider is putting themself through. I think the singing about dollar bills and these lines "It's ok to live through me?", "And the tears on which you feed", "I'm so selfish, paying your rent"
