The first time I Heard the lyrics, the Religion part meant to me that all these religions teach us that your soul goes somewhere else after you die, each one with a different theory, a different destiny, and all religion does y create dispute, while he believes that even though they die or lose themselves, they're souls will always stay together someway or another, so no religion might be right... something like that. This is A Freking Good song. It's soo Beautiful and no one has commented yet! The lyrics are Self-explanatory, a girl from a small town trying to fulfill her dreams. You can do either two things: a) Focus on the stupid, meaningless garbaje rap verses, and forget the guitar and bassline with the chorus. Or... b) You can ignore the worthless nonsense idiotic rap verses and concentrate in the AWESOME chorus line and the FANTASTIC music background. It's true, the song IS stupid, and doesn't really seem pleasent when you're trying to do something productive with your life, but "Rock, is what we're all about, is what we live for, so c'mon shout it out" is just an Anthem for whoever you are if you breathe music. Is Awesome to listen to this song after 10 years, (I'm 16) after you've listened to "Underclass Hero" and "Chuck" so they're not just this jerks inmature kids, but they sound more like Artists, with One of the best chorus ever made, and a sick guitar that make the song SOUND AMAZING!!!! |

It just means a lot a lot, and has a deeper meaning if someone would help you release your secrets! I'm not religious, but I'm spiritual, I believe and pray to God, but I don't go to Church, so this song is just perfect! Tom has that special gift, to send different deep and special meanings according to how you feel, using the same words. He's a genius!!! I'm glad blink ended; don't get me wrong, I like Blink, a lot, but AvA, they just make your life better, they ignite your spirit, and they have this magnifiscent sound, NO ONE has. This song is inspiring and amazing. Not many artists can make you have a lot of theories about a song meaning, but Angels & Airwaves always makes you happy according to what you're going through in yout life. I love how It's obviously about God, til some point. But if you want it, it can be more more personal, it can just relate to how you're lost the will to do anything, and someone is trying to help you. I also love how it contains both, all world problems, all those horrible things we have to see every day and would be awsome to just see it gone; And it contains your own life, your own problems that no one understands (or so you think), and those walls you build around yourself; and both meanings are equally powerful and emotional. I don't think it's about God, at least not just about, but an image of how beautiful it would be if we had faith in our hearts, and we could see a better world around us.
