I did the same (copied from the booklet) and they weren't posted, either. |

Rise Against – People Live Here Lyrics | 9 years ago |
The song seems to be about religious conflict between two nations. These lines are from the aggressor: "My god is better than yours And the walls of my house are so thick I hear nothing at all" "My gun is bigger than yours So let's arm the masses And see what the bastards do then" The whole rest of the song is from the victim. In particular, the "Hey, people live here" line seems to be a person's cry to the bombs being dropped, as if the aggressor does not care at all. Finally, the following lines reinforce my thoughts as it points out the unnecessary violence towards the innocent, combined with a direct sarcastic remark towards America as we claim that we are a free nation. I feel like it's Tim's way of saying that if America was truly free, we would not need to attack other nations which takes away their own sense of freedom. "From the coffins full of kindergartners Is this what you call free?" |

Thrice – Words in The Water Lyrics | 12 years ago |
If this song is about accepting death, then I get a similar vibe from this song as I do from "Wood & Wire" where the man in that song accepts his death sentence for a crime he didn't commmit. |
Rise Against – Architects Lyrics | 13 years ago |
@ Scottboy79 I don't see why you had to respond like that. GarrettJo stated an opinion respectfully, there's no need to be sarcastic about the comment. I like how Rise Against has changed. As long as they don't make any more songs like "The Dirt Whispered," I'll be happy. |
Halestorm – It's Not You (2006 EP version) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
For the first verse, it's "Read my finger whatcha gonna do?" Not "I’m now single now whatcha gonna do?" |
Dream Theater – Repentance Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Sorry, I didn't see sleepwalker113 had already posted these above. |
Dream Theater – Repentance Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Here's the spoken parts that I was able to pick out. This definitely isn't all of it, but it's what I could hear. "Until that moment, I never felt like I had failed at anything, and I felt like I failed her, I failed myself, and I failed my children. It's still really hard." "I want to thank you for helping me to see my own selfishness, and to tell you how regretful I am." "I'm sorry I didn't visit you in the hospital." "I'm here to confess to you that what I did was wrong." "I'm sorry I didn't come to the funeral. I don't know if I was selfish, I was just too scared to face it." "One of my best friends is the godfather of my daughter. He asked me to play or sing something at his wedding and I turned it down. I felt very sorry, he's a very close friend of mine." "I want to apologize to anyone that I may have upset or offended. I'm sorry for what I did back then. I was a different person. I wish it wouldn't have happened, but it did." |

Hey everyone, corrected lyrics should be up very soon, including the background vocals that no one can seem to interpret. |
Saosin – On My Own Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Wow, it does sound a bit like Dustin Kensrue. Slightly reminds me of the softer parts of "The Earth Will Shake." |
