Every time I hear this song it reminds me of a very close relative of mine who developed alzheimers disease. The progression of the illness was devastating and terribly heartbraking to our family. The repetitive use of "eet" during the chorus reminds me of my loved one trying to remember a word to finish a sentence during the early stages of the disease and after many years of being afflicted she eventually forgot who she was. A very sad song for me. |
