On the car drive home, just blown out on a girl I was seeing, this song made a lot of sense and at the end of the car ride I had a smile on my face. Although it wasn't a too big of a set back this song worked for me :)
For me it's about chasing somebody who you want them to love you but they don't 'wasted my days chasing instead of catching'. He's shown how he feels 'i'm not only asking' and still nothing. I also feel it's written in the sense of explaining to the person or maybe even himself why he can't put himself through it anymore 'because i can face this falling it's just the taking that i fell'. I don't know what the Copper & Stars is about, maybe he's saying the song into the sky, getting it off his chest.
I got with the chick 2 weeks later ;)

Fluid song. Could be about wanting to help somebody, or even be about a lover who wants his other lover to do/see/understand something. What ever the true meaning behind the song is, it's still amazing.
Wipers is one band which really should get more respect, disappointing that most the people I know have heard nothing about them, until they talked to me..! |

This one gnarly song! That's the only word I can think about to describe this track.
It's pretty easy to decipher.. just "Alexander.. the Raised Fist commander" telling you a little about the band and basically saying they're different to a lot of bands around at the moment, trying new things. Oh and they don't give a flying feck what'cha think!

I think you all are putting it into a small box by saying it's just about religion. I get the feeling the first line pretty much sums it up 'modernism'. It's about a multitude of things; Material possessions, the stupid hierarchy we have & yes religion. I also think the last line is interesting, he might be saying we all are to vain nowadays, but I would disagree with him (sometimes depending on how I feel) becuase back in day (depending on how far you look) people cared more about who you were/what you have rather than today when you're pretty much your own man/woman (well it's like that where I live :)) |

Great song, from what I take from it it's about being yourself and not being a sheep, rather then talking about the things you stand for act the way you should if you truly stand for it. |

Quiet a lot of stuff going on but I generally I feel it's about disliking the way politicians/governments handle things and what 'plan' they have for society. But it deals with a lot more than that like whys is he part of it, and why does he/we let it happen.
