Beautiful song. It's so soothing but so heartbreaking. I made sure I memorized the lyrics the first day I fell in love with it. Now I mouth the lyrics every time I hear it.
How can you ever listen Kelly Clarkson's all right, not so deep songs after hearing this? I think it is impossible. All other artists need to take a lesson from this girl. Great lyrics, great voice, great music. Ten stars! |

Yes! I love the "delusional" part. Because of Bella's visions it totally fits. And the "fading, steadily" part so fits when her visions become less often.

It may be that she has a crush on an old friend and just when she's about to tell him how she feels,
"She caught him by the mouth" and stole him away.
They take a break from the relationship after "eight long months" and the singer nabs him. After two weeks the singer and the tramp are fighting over this guy. The singer has obviously won and she never meant to rub it in but seriously "it feels so good." Who wouldn't, right?

I agree with you on all counts but I think the lines,
"You made yourself a bed at the blackest hole. And convinced yourself it's not the reason you don't see the sun anymore"
May mean that, that certain person has been sucked into a deep addicion, yes I know that's cliche, and that person doesn't believe that his or her addiction is the reason their so depressed.
I don't know. That's just my take from personal experience. |
