well i think its about this guy who's in a relationship, and both he and his girlfriend or whatever she is cannot tell if it is going in a positive direction or not. thats why he contrasts a horrible thing and something good (ie Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain, etc) And since they dont know they jst continue on with their relationship year after year. |

Im a BIGGG Nirvana fan, although i was not alive when they were around(missed it by a year and a half) Its called lithium because thats medicine that bipolar people take or something.At this time Kurt was depressed and lonely. I have studied this song and i think that this song is about Kurt's depression. He is trying to find an up to everyone of his downs. alright, REM is pretty freaking great but like if you're gonna post something try to tell your interpretation. Obviously, this song basically saying that everybody goes through bad times, everyone feels pain, and everyone gets sad every once and a while. And no matter how depressed or sad you are, you just gotta hold on. There'll be a brighter day. This song helped me out a lot. |

alright i may be wrong but this is my perosnal interpretation it is about these two ppl who loved each other a lot. the girl generally lost her feelings and left the guy hanging. (hanging means like he still loved her) she moved on and became content with her life although the guy was left in the dirt. he supports her decision (as a good friend would) but never lost his feelings. she finds a guy who she thinks may be the but he knows he is wrong for her. he love she more than ever and she loses her feelings completely. she wants her to realize hoe much he loves her(more than anyone else will). there's a part that he says we took it out too far only love can save us now. by that he means that he waited too long and shell never love him again and the only way she will is if she realizes how much she loved him and if it was worth anther try read this meaning and look at the lyrics afterward.really look into it. tell me what you think |
