I can see where the song would be written for her husband, and it makes a lot of sence, and it is sad that people are fighting about it, but the song does discribe how it does feel to worship God, i think thats one reason why they never said 'God" Or 'Jesus" in the song, maybe so everyone could have their own take on it. it can mean a lot of things to different people. thats a good thing. |

To me, this song is about the amazing relationship with God, but...i guess it could be about your boyfriend/girlfriend...i mean if someone really wants to sing about their boyfriend being all around them, and your arms being up stretched twords them.alright.. but..."My tongue dances behind my lips for you." crying out to Jesus, songs of praise, praying, things like that. but this song explains exactly how it feels when you worship God. it's an amazing feeling that no man or woman could ever give..opinion.
