I saw a repeat of the One Tree Hill episode this was featured in today and remembered how much I love this song. WOW. It really hits home because I've suffered from depression and a bad relationship...at the same time. For the relationship, I tried to do everything I could think of too before I finally admitted to myself it was the relationship causing the problem. I just rememebered today how much I love this song so I had to comment. |

I just heard this song for the first time today. It's sooo good. It reminds me of an ex of mine, who had another girlfriend, but was constantly telling me he was still in love with me while I was just trying to get over him...but one of the lines reminds me of him the most... "but I can't see you ever again." because I can't see him, or it will all unravel again and cause problems. Love is sooo complicated and I think this song depicts that sentiment really well. |

| I love this song. I don't know if it's about a relationship necessarily or about someone struggling in general...but I look at it the struggling way. In that sense, it's a great inspirational song. Something to listen to when you're really down and need to hear that line, "Just keep holding on...I know right now that's not the way you feel. But one day you will." | |

I love this song. It's so sweet. I was confused on those two parts with ??? too. I just have two corrections for you. I don't think it's "I knew the odds were right never when, and here i am..." but actually "I knew the odds were I'd never win, yet here i am..." I think it's "well there may well be others but i still like to pretend " not "Well there may well be a best, but I still like to pretend" I think it's about a relationship in which she is more invested than the guy. She knows he sees other women too and she knows that he doesn't value the relationship the same way she does yet she can't bring herself to end it for her own good. I love the line "my self worth's measured in text back tempo." It's so true about relationships today. Waiting for a text back from someone you like can be agonizing to wait for. I think its about a girl, who decided to let a guy get closer to her. The more he knows about her though, the worse she feels because she's come to the realization that they can't really be together. She talking about how unfair it is that she finally let someone in and its not going to work out. I think its a great song and I love Kate's voice in this slow ballad. I love the lines "But don't you dare go avoiding me. It kills me and yet it keeps me going." It remeinds me of a relationship I had. |

I relate so well to that line "Yea I'm scared of death and I'm scared of living." also, "perfecting how to put a game face on." I think the song relates to Justin's battle with bipolar disorder. To me at least it mirrors some of the feelings you have as a bipolar person. I am bipolar myself, so maybe its just me relating to Justin's songs. It could be about a relationship too, like the previous person said. But the ideas about the battle with the disorder just makes more sense to me. You're always wondering how long til it all works out right. |

| I know what Rob Thomas said he wrote this song about, but to me, it's about someone who is very close to someone who is fighting depression. Maybe its my own personal struggle with depression that makes me think that, but the way he describes the girl crying and her diamonds just made me think of depression right away. This song makes me tear up because of that. | |
