Thus, that plus the other song makes it seem to be likely that the abuser in the sing is male. Although then again a male victim might be much more willing to term his realization of some regained control, using the same evil terms when speaking back... but then again, the abuser is not using these actual poetic words to describe themself, but rather, Metallica is using the poetic wording, as no overt narcissist is capable of making poetic and evoking words. Of course, although males in general might be willing to cite such terms back to the abuser, agressive\\hatred-tendency (in response to valid reasons) sort of males wouldn\'t be likely to marry an abuser in the first place, and additionally, many female victims are not too great of people, they gossip, demand on other victims (to divorce etc.), and pretend that literally not one single thing ever done by the narcissist can possibly be neutral or good (when they defended someone from someone who did abuse in a way which they would not do (such as a cashier)? yes, that is actually a good thing to do if done normal to acceptably). After all, you have to be fairly incapable of love in order to have any possibility whatsoever to begin a relationship with an overt narcissist in the first place, someone who has absolutely no skills to even pretend like they are listening or comforting someone validly and fully. Therefore, I guess the percentage of female victims of narcissist husbands, compared to other female victims of other abuses or victims of non-husband narcissists, would indeed have a higher number of females who could think like "ha ha you are obeying me now, puppet!" instead of the non-evil way to think, "oh good, he didn\'t remember that, I can read my book without anxiety for now then....". You have to look up the lyrics to understand them (albumin general, not this song), so you cant even say they suck due to lyrics being less, um, requiring of study.
