Well, I have a different point of view on this song right now. It was exactly what I felt a few weeks ago, when I had to decide between two girls. The one was, like, the girl I had been with for about two years and the other one I had met only two months before that moment. At first I confessed to my girlfriend that I had cheated on her and told her I would forget the other girl, but then I saw the other girl again and I was like: damn, I really wanna touch her and I can not just forget her but need a way to be able to be with her again. In the end I left my girlfriend for her. Every word of this song fits the moment before I made the decision, starting with 'I never thought that I was so blind I can finally see the truth It's me for you' describing how blind and idiotic it was to negate my feelings and stay with my girlfriend. |

I kind of thought about the illegal part, too. I don't think it's the age of consent, though. I think it could be about a student and a teacher and they both want each other but they have to wait before they can be together: "and when they set me free just put your hands on me" The song kinda reminds me of "notes on a scandal", no idea why... |
