OK, so this is just my two sense. take from it what you will - I will say i agree with onethinwallaway as well. it kind of ties into what i was saying. in simple terms, I think its saying the world is going to shit. and were the cause of it. we ride skeletal lightning referring to each generation getting more hollow, and it eventually comes to a tip/point. the end. everything is the same in this sanitized exploding airplane, basically saying were living our lives in a box. but outside the box, reality is waiting to bite us in the ass. more or less, its sanitized, because humans would be the type to be worrying about such a thing even if the plane was burning. basically saying through war - not necessarily the war in Iraq, but just our lust for power - greed - brutality - our eagerness to make others conform and follow our ways - we will end our own lifes. my last statement - We ride, We ride, skeletal lightning, We ride, We ride, skeletal lightning, vacant as a womb that's miscarried we are leading lives that are hollow - they have no meaning, were dead before were born. idk, i could have explained allot more, but what it sounds like to me, is they just got together, started talking about what bullshit life really is - and made this song. idk. im pretty high right now, so i could be interpreting this way off. |
