I really need to go hug my cat after listening to this. She's my childhood cat, and fortunately she's not dead yet. Age six when I got her, "I'll name her Precious, because she's precious." (Stupid yeah, but what can you expect from a six year old?)

I always interpreted the song to being about working for a massive company, that only cares about profit. So you know, working for basically any company now.
Of course the manager interpret makes sense, since Freddie wrote songs about them before, but work is what I always think about.
