well the way i see it, it's something about how what men does all begin with what the girls do/behave. for example, When Eve on adam's mind - eve is the one who told adam to eat the illegal fruit before both of them are thrown onto earth. at first, adam don't want to do it when the devil ask him to do so, but when eve told him to do so, he eat it anyway. Good girls who like to sin- i believe that it's something like when girls behave so good toward guys that they always succeeded on pursuing the guys to do bad things. which in return the consequences only effect the guys. i really like this song, along with "up all night." what my take on this song is that it is about how you wanted someone to be yours, but they just being in the phase of "just friend", and they kinda give you hope like probably they'll accept you one day. but the thing is, you kinda know they are just messing around, laughing at you behind your back. this guy, he just knows that probably nothing will come out of what they are doing. Bite your lips, your word's a robbery Do you grin inside? You're killing me All along we talked of forever I kinda think that we won't get better It's the longest start, but the end is not too far away Did you know? well i don't think this song is about a breakup. i think he likes this girl so as usual, guy called the girl every night just to talk and whatever. but the girl seems not very interested. then he gave up, he said "i just wanna feel yo close to me" but the girl love to see him suffer."And Tell me do you want to smile, when i cry". so basically he said, don't worry, tell me everything you hate about me because i won't here anymore anyway. in my interpretation, "my pretty eyes" is like a symbolic for the good heart he has. rhythm-wise, i like it that if you didn't listen to the lyric you'll probably think that this is the song you can dance to or it's happy song. but it wasn't. |

I personally think this song is about how we feel when everything is not like it use to be with our love ones, but we still try to hold on, but in the same time, we realize it’s nothing to hold on to. Sometimes I've got nothing to say. Nothing to sing about, That makes you lie awake. Sometimes I've got nothing to do. Nothing to signal out when I can't be with you. This line, in my opinion shows that this guy have nothing left to share with his gf because he jus doesn’t know anything interesting that he can talk about because if he talk, then the gf would be boring, so he better don’t talk at all. He also don’t know how to show that he wants everything to be over. How should I hold this girlfriend? As tight as I ever could? Now, why should I? No reason why. You wore me down. Worse, did I show. Well, its title probably refers to the the one that gets dump. it means like the guy will say to the girl after he broke up with her like "i'm sorry for breaking up with you and hurt you. i probably hate to be you if people find out that you just got dump by me." or it even means that he hate to be the gf after they broke up because then people will talk about them and if the girl had done something wrong, people will starting to make rumours and mock her and in every relationship, if the guy is breaking up with the girlfriend, the gf is the one usually feel the hurts more than the guy. so that probably fit with the song anyway. and it's a really great song. |
