Starts off about sinking an 8 ball. An 8 ball is a term for a round package of meth about an inch in width, maybe slightly larger. Meth gives you the confidence to expose yourself to situations, and people you have never met. Buy the lady a drink, and nobody knows my name. Perhaps he is involved with crime, bodies float up, from the bottom of the river, like bubbles in fine champagne. He's the one, no doubt, walking on a tight rope. Meth makes you feel like a superhero. It makes you feel like you are on a mission, and there is nobody better to handle it than yourself. Got a gash on my head, and a grin on my face, and a shadow called danger. When you are spun, a gash isn't going to phase you, he keeps a grin on his face, and he feels surrounded, or empowered by danger around him. Ever see people walking around past midnight that seemed a bit too energetic? Hidin' in the sheets, and on the streets, in the hearts of every stranger. Likely unable to sleep, he hides and listens, and is unable to become un-stimulated. On the streets, he believes he is stealthy, and he believes that he is loved by everyone around him, he thinks that he is making people feel as good as himself with the high he is experiencing. Here he comes, look out, Teach the world a lesson. More of the super hero type thing. He is dangerous, here he comes, look out! everyone is depending on him. (below I rethink this, is he a cop? a very hypocritical and perhaps delusional cop) Here I am thinking that he is not a crime lord, but rather a regular (if you can say regular) junky. Sweat on the brow, tap on the phone, lives are on the line. He's in overdrive, sweat on his brow, his phone may be tapped, perhaps he has been doing this for awhile. lives are on the line, what would happen if he got caught? Pick up the brief case, on a high speed chase, breathing by the roll of the dice. Ok here is an idea, is he an undercover cop who is taking this drug to arrest drug dealers? That's a thought, perhaps not. Anyway, he has the brief case, and hes on a high speed chase, breathing by the roll of the dice. Whether or not he is a normal junky, or a cop taking his liscence a bit too far, he has to act now, and either way, he is breathing by the roll of the dice. When you are high on meth, you almost breathe as you think. Now I am leaning more towards it being an undercover drug cop. Reachin' up to the top, we're depending on you. (I'm losing focus at this point, trying to multi task as I write this.) I'm not sure what "Reachin' up to the top" means, but again, we're depending on you, could go two ways, perhaps it is meant to be like that. A high will make you think you are helping people. A high cop will definitely think that he is helping people. Explaining "we're depending on you". This all leading up to the catchy part of the song, "In regards, to my useage of the drug, it modified my personality, to the point that I was highly irritable, I was like a, crack hitler. Now he says crack hitler, however this song screams meth to me. And is he a junky? or is he an undercover cop at a debriefing here. |
