| To me, fast cars and freedom means the good old days when freedom actually meant something and cars were actually fast and powerful and solid. This song rocks! This is probably the best love song I ever heard. True from the heart. I only wish I had a relationship with a woman that made me feel like this song explains. We only have one chance to live our lives here on earth. With that, I'd like to feel like I've lived and loved before I die. I haven't done a damn thing with my life but screw it up. I'm only 26 so, I'd like to think there is time to change all that but, who knows...people die every day at all ages. Now days, it seems like everyone is too superficial and materialistic. | I welcome the 'atheists' first of all, and agree with them in a sense... Let me explain...'Atheists' are poor lost souls that seem to think they know exactly how and why everything is. I only hope and pray that they see God's truth by coming to these christian sites or talking to christians and learning from them and hopefully, believe in Him. The only way that I agree with them is, the evolution thing...God did use evolution as part of creation. Beginnerbassist08 put it perfectly. Think about it, there is no way someone is going to get 2 of every animal there is because, there are/was different kinds of animals all around the earth in every part. Also, if you don't like the term evolution then, how about adaptation...better? Still means pretty much the same thing. Animals, like people, adapt to their surroundings in order to survive. That is why in Wisconsin, where I live, there are a lot of obese people compared to the average elsewhere...because it's cold here and naturally, people and animals gain fat to fight the cold weather, and because your average person and animal are less active in cold weather. Just makes sense to me. However, even if the Big Bang theory were true, something had to be there to explode or whatever, right? No matter how you look at it, there had to be something/someone who 'always was'. Just because all we know is time, doesn't necessarily mean that infinity is impossible. Time is something man created to measure change. Don't deny something just because we as humans can't comprehend it. Imagine what it was like before the web, before tv, or radio, or electricity...people couldn't comprehend that either or else they would have had use of all that already. If we knew everything there is to know and only believed in what we could scientifically explain then, this world would be boring and pointless. There would be nothing, and I mean nothing left to discover. As long as we are still discovering things and learning things as a human race then, that still leaves an opening for the possibilty for anything. It just so happens that there is an ancient book written about a certain belief that explains everything and has predicted the times and events quite accurately. How can a person deny a truth that is laid out for them right in front of them. That book I am talking about is called the Holy Bible. and it seems as if DC Talk knew that almost as well as anyone out there. God wants us to preach, teach, and show people the Word of God. I myself am a Jesus Freak. If I did not have Jesus to believe in and have faith in then, believe me, I would have killed myself a long time ago...let's just say things haven't gone my way over the years...but, it's because of Jesus that I still have hope of a better life. And it is getting better. DC Talk were telling a story about those who taught the Word of God and were obviously worried about others and not themselves. Thay were here to teach. And notice that they come in many forms/types of people. One might eat shit to survive while another has tattoos. They are not ashamed of themselves and especially are not ashamed of God. So, she finally decides that she can't pretend anymore and is tired of waiting for him to realize what he has. | I think this song is great first of all. So don't get me wrong when i say that in my opinion, this song is about some sort of acid trip that plant was once partaking in.
