Why? – Miss Ohios Nameless Lyrics
|
It should say "EVEN miss ohio's nameless" not You've been.
The point (I think) being that when Miss Ohio is on stage at a beauty contest or whatever, everyone pays attention to her, but when she goes home at night she isn't a beauty queen, she's just some random ordinary person. She isn't wearing the sash that reads Miss Ohio anymore, and is thus nameless.
He's saying that however famous you are in some circle, in a different situation you're a nobody. |

The Beatles – Revolution 9 Lyrics

Better than 90% of the Beatles other songs.
I can't believe all the pompous asses here claiming this isn't a song, there's no logical argument for it. Revolution 9 is a piece of organized sound which was released on an album of music, therefor it is a song. Case closed. to say otherwise is to be a pretentious prick. "This isn't music, because I don't like it and my opinion on the value of a piece is all that matters" |

At a concert last year Kyp introduced this as having been written in the past about the future (which is the present.) I have no fucking clue what that means. |

TV on the Radio – Dancing Choose Lyrics

Yeah, a lot of the lyrics here are pronounced in such a way that they seem to have two meanings. "Angry young Mannequin, American apparently" = "Angry young Manic in American Apparel"
Ironically, TVotR's official T-shirts are printed on American Apparel. |
