Frou Frou – It's Good to Be in Love Lyrics 15 years ago
I can see this song as being someone being in love with her, and her wishing she could reciprocate the feelings on the same level because she cares about this person and doesn't want them to get hurt. It's kind of like when your best friend falls in love with you, and you don't feel the same but wish you could because you could make such a perfect couple if you both loved each other. She's telling herself she feels the same because it seems like the right thing to do, but she's just lying to herself ("These cucumber eyes are lying the more that I smile about it"). I think the whole "all of my clothes feel like somebody's old throwaways" might be about how he didn't love her originally, but their relationship has just evolved, and she's kind of grown into the role of this love of his. But it seems she can't believe how these feelings evolved for him but not for her ("How's it happening that he feels it without me?").

Although...the only reason I might see it like this is because it's kind of the situation I'm in at the exact moment.

Pelle Carlberg – Clever Girls Like Clever Boys Much More Than Clever Boys Like Clever Girls Lyrics 15 years ago
Fantastic song! Although from my observations, it seems intelligent women are the ones that are attracted to less intelligent men, and that's usually because they're intimidated by intelligent guys due to personal insecurities and such. I know that was always my issue. Oh well, one day I'll find a man to match my intellect.

The Cardigans – Good Morning Joan Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm pretty sure this is about her various problems, represented by various people. The fact that she refers to them from an observer point of view probably means she's taking a step back and analyzing herself from a neutral stand point and she's probably talking her way through the steps to a resolution. Of course, judging by 'but you're all just like me so i quit!', she decides to give up. Probably because she now has a new perspective which is what may be implied by 'see, my heroes changed their minds', and also by 'and i lost my numbers'. It probably means she no longer has any interest in these things she once cared about because she now sees the pain and confusion isn't worth it.
What a fantastic song that is basically the story of my life.

IAMX – You Stick It In Me Lyrics 15 years ago
I loooove this song so much. I've been in a relationship like this, and I can completely relate.

A girl is in love with this guy but he doesn't return that love. He's only using her, and he's using others too and she knows she's not his only one, but when he touches her, she just gives in because she loves him and she doesn't want to lose him. When it's over, she questions the relationship and herself because of what this person is putting her through, and the 'life question' may just be about how much she will suffer for the one you love.
'You touch me
My voice breaks'
When he comes to her, she becomes weak and can't stand up to him. She wants to talk to him about it, but her voice breaks.
'I'm crawling in the grass
I fake rape'
She crawls for him and takes any abuse, and as a consolation to her ego, she might be telling herself that it's rape and abuse and that he's forcing her, when really, she's willing to do anything for him.

'I try to fill the hole
Where you climb down'
This is probably about her trying to find a way to fill the emptiness when he's not there.

'I have blood, so hurt me'
This may mean that she's willing to suffer for this person, she'll even bleed for him, and because she loves him, she'll accept the hurt because it makes her feel alive. It could also just have a weird masochistic meaning. If she can't have his love, she'll take anything, even the hurt.

IAMX – Kiss + Swallow Lyrics 15 years ago
To me this song seems about religious dogma and judging everyone by extreme personal beliefs. It make be about having the kind of mentality that dictates 'if you're not with me, you're definitely against me'.

"Do you pay for your crimes?
Does the punishment fit or drag your style to zero
You're nothing till the weekend"
It seems like this is talking about one of those religious extremists that judges everyone, but fail to see that they too, may be sinners. So it's like 'stop judging and take a good look at yourself. Are you any better than the next guy?' And the line 'you're nothing till the weekend' is about actually going to church (various religions have different holy days of the week; Islam has Friday, Judaism Saturday, Christianity Sunday - all which could be considered part of the weekend) and the person having an opportunity to show their 'righteousness' in public amongst like minded people, since during the week they may be around people that don't have the same beliefs as them, and may not see the person's actions as dignified as they would be seen amongst people with a similar mentality as the religious person.

"If you think that you're the thrill
Take a look at your life, you kneel before your heroes
You're nothing till the weekend"
Again, this is saying that sure, the person may consider themself so great and righteous, but all they're really doing is kneeling before their idols and falling into this dogma, and does this really make them that great of a person?

"Do you care for the blind?
Tell me all in all, they're just your kind of zeros
Something for the weekend
If you think that you can spell
Make a list of the cunts you'd send to hell and send them
Send them on the weekend"
I think the reference to the blind may refer to Jesus' teachings, about helping the less unfortunate. But the part that says 'they're just your kind of zeros' again may refer to someone who uses religion as a means to feel superior for others and this may be asking whether the person helps the less unfortunate out of true sympathy or because they know this is another deed that will help them seem better than everyone.
And the entire thing about 'the cunts you'd send to hell' may be about prostitutes in the times of Jesus, such as Mary Magdalene, and whether the person can find the power to forgive such people, or whether they will damn them. Or it may be about 'sinners' that the person can easily point their finger at and condemn them.

"Echo Echo, I know it's a sin to kiss and swallow"
This may be a reference to Judas, who after kissing Jesus on the cheek and betraying him, 'swallowed' the guilt, and tried to move on with his life. Of course it became too hard to bear, and then he hung himself. The echo may be a representation of Judas when he went crazy in the garden, maybe he heard voices or something. (Excuse my ignorance to such details from the Bible. It's been ages since I've read anything out of it.)

"Are you listening?"
This may be a sort of a voice of reason, asking the person whether the way they're going about asserting their beliefs may be that good of an idea. Or maybe it's even asking whether they have any ability left to think for themselves.

"No - In the narrowest sense"
This is the reply to the question above. Maybe the person is happy in their ignorance.

"Are you listening?
I can hold you down by candlelight
With indifference"
"By candlelight" may mean to keep the person in the dark, in this comforting lie.

"Let the comfort start
I love you on your right side"
I think by this point it becomes kind of like a conversation with themselves, and trying to decide what side to take and what to do. Is it easier to continue with this religious dogma, or is it okay to start questioning? The 'right side' may refer to the 'right hand of god', where I think Jesus sits. So maybe the person is finds it easier to be lead by religion, and prefers being this way.

"It happens
Promises broken
Reasons let go
It happens
Are you listening?"
Again, maybe the voice of reason, reminding the person that things can change, even strong ideals may falter, and asking them whether they're willing to accept this shift or not.
